About the Germeshausen Center

Pierce Law launched the Germeshausen Center in 1985 with the mission to improve, through training and research, the climate for commercialization of technology. Headed by David Rines Professor of Intellectual Property Law Karl F. Jorda, it is the umbrella organization for Pierce Law's specialization and policy studies in the legal protection, management, and transfer of intellectual property, especially relating to the commercialization of technology and draws together an array of programs at Pierce Law as a resource of legal, business, science and governmental interest.
