Office of Alumni Relations
- The Office of Alumni Relations has an active alumni referral program. Register and update your information in the online Alumni Directory. Please update your contact information and areas of practice to help us provide accurate alumni referrals
- Inform us of your professional and news, career advancements, and other important news, so it can be included in the Class Actions section of the Pierce Law magazine
- Help organize and sponsor alumni receptions and events in your area; attend alumni events in your area
Ways to Get Involved
Academics
- Externships: Offer to assist faculty with externship placements. If you can help, please contact Ellen Musinsky at emusinsky@piercelaw.edu
- Internships abroad: JD students have expressed interest in internships abroad, including China, Hong Kong and Japan
- Moot Court: Volunteer to serve as a judge or reviewer of Pierce Law's annual Moot Court student competitions
- Student Pro Bono Project: serve as an attorney mentor in our Student Pro Bono Project, a partnership with the NH Bar Association
- Volunteer to participate in the Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program by offering to review student work. If you are interested, please contact John Garvey at jgarvey@piercelaw.edu
Admissions
- Help bring students to Pierce Law by encouraging potential students to visit the campus and the Pierce Law website
- Assist admissions officers during regional visits
- Volunteer to interview prospective students when admissions officers seek your assistance
Career Services
- Update Career Services on your professional news and accomplishments
- Inform the Career Services office about internships and employment opportunities in your company, community or city
- Register with and search the Career Services job site at www.easelaw.com/piercelaw.
- Participate in career development workshops and events
- Volunteer to participate as a guest lecturer or panelist
- Mentor a student or new graduate
- Provide information about your area(s) of professional practice for alumni referral requests
Philanthropy
- Donate to Pierce Law. Make a contribution online
- Contribute to special program/scholarship fundraising efforts
- Help solicit funds from classmates and associates in support of Pierce Law
- Volunteer to help with fundraising phonathons
- Offer to serve on the Development Committee
Governance
- Pierce Law may requests alumni serve on advisory committees or the Board of Trustees. We hope that when asked, you will consider giving your time and expertise.
More Ways to Advance our Mission
- Serve as a committee member for the Golf Tournament or other alumni/fundraising event
- Attend commencement, and special events on campus
- Participate in Pierce Law's Annual Bruce Friedman Community Service Day (October)
- Keep informed about all that's going on at Pierce Law. Promote Pierce Law in your community, workplace, and with prospective law students.
- Inviting Pierce Law Faculty to deliver presentations
- Consider how Pierce Law could partner with an organization or institution you work with

- Maintain your active attorney membership with the Law Library.
