Statistical Summary for the Class of 2008
Every December the Career Services Office sends an employment survey to each member of the previous year’s graduating class. The information from these surveys is compiled and, along with similar data from other law schools, forms the basis for national statistics. The ABA and U.S. News and World Report use the same information, although U.S. News and World Report uses a different formula in presenting the information.
Employment Overview
The employment rate within six months of graduation was 85.5% with 62% of the class working in private practice and 38% of the class working in the following areas: academic, business, judicial clerkships, government, and public interest.
Over 75% of the class is employed out of state.
