Why LRAP?
Alumna Kristen Guilmette JD '04 at the New Hampshire Public Defender office sums it up best:
"Compelling. Demanding. Rewarding. Those words describe public interest law. Impossible would have been another were it not for Pierce Law's Loan Repayment Assistance Program ("LRAP"). The financial burden of loan repayment is huge, forcing some new lawyers to forego public interest law. Through LRAP, Pierce Law not only supports its graduates but also supports the community in making sure that lawyers who choose to dedicate their career to the public interest are able to do so.
