Welcome to Washington, D.C.
Washington D.C. is the eighth-largest metropolitan area in the United States. Washington is a popular tourist destination because it is home to many national landmarks. The National Mall is one such location, where various monuments of American leaders are located; it also serves to connect the White House and the United States Capitol buildings. Notable points of interest in the Mall include the Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial. Also located in the District is the world renowned Smithsonian Institution, which contains a collection of free museums.
Credits
The course will be a week long, two (2) credit, ABA approved course.
Tuition, Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition for the course is USD $2,050. Tuition payment, in full, is required by May 9, 2008. All checks should be made payable to Franklin Pierce Law Center. Credit card payment for tuition will be accepted from those students not pursuing student loans. JD students from Pierce Law and other US law schools should inquire about financial aid through their home law school: students applying for student loans are required to notify the Director of Summer Programs, in writing, that a loan is in process and that the student understands he/she is obligated to pay full tuition prior to the start of classes.
