As Pierce Law’s Director of Development, Laura S. Chaney oversees institutional advancement through fundraising and alumni outreach.
She joined Pierce Law in 2005 as the director of annual giving and alumni relations. In 2006, to enhance services supporting global alumni networks and alumni relationships, Laura became full-time director of alumni relations.
She continues to oversee Pierce Law's online alumni community, alumni events, alumni referrals and alumni contacts while managing fundraising efforts including special events as the annual PIC Auction and LRAP Golf Tournament.
Prior to joining Pierce Law, Laura was the associate director and director of development for the NH Humanities Council, director of annual giving for The Derryfield School and resource developer for Child Health Services, a health care clinic in Manchester, NH.
Laura is past president and board member for the NH Council on Fundraising and a board member for the Friends of White Park in Concord, NH. She is also president of the Loud's Island Church Association in Maine.
She enjoys kayaking and swimming, and with her husband, supporting her four children as they spread their wings. She was a choir director for 10 years and an active volunteer in the Concord community. Laura earned her BA in international government from Wells College.
