International Criminal Law and Justice

The program in International Criminal Law and Justice prepares students for careers involving a diverse range of justice issues, including counter terrorism, peacekeeping and diplomacy, military law, anti-counterfeiting, piracy, human trafficking — areas expanding in vital importance in our globalized world.

Students in the International and Criminal Law Justice program participate in a one week seminar. This Advanced Criminal Law and Justice seminar, is held each spring in Washington DC.

This program provides students with both substantive knowledge and practical skills through innovative academic courses and externships with law firms and government agencies.

Upon graduation, students join a network of alumni practicing in top firms and government agencies spanning 81 countries.

Externships

Students in the ICLJ program are eligible for an off-campus externship at a U.S. law firm, corporate or government office for academic credit that will strengthen their experience and background.
