Patent Law LLM/MIP Online Program

Advance Your Career with an LLM or Master's in Intellectual Property

Now with three options for Patent Law students (online, limited residency, or traditional residency)

The University of New Hampshire School of Law’s world-renowned program in Intellectual Property has produced a global network of alumni who are leaders in IP law, business, technology and government. For 40 years, UNH Law, and its Franklin Pierce Center for Intellectual Property, have been pioneers in hands-on intellectual property education.

Today, the same innovative curriculum is now offered in three formats for students interested in either the Master's or LLM degree, with a focus on Patent Law: fully online, through a traditional residency on our Concord, NH campus, or via a limited residency option, which combines online courses with a shorter stay in New Hampshire. Students who pursue any one of these options will earn the same University of New Hampshire School of Law degree, and have the opportunity to attend the annual graduation ceremony with family and friends.

UNH Law offers one of the most extensive selection of intellectual property courses in the country, exposing students to a wide range of cutting-edge intellectual property issues. As a pioneer in integrating intellectual property studies into legal education, UNH Law offers students the practical experience needed to handle innovation in today's complex environment. And with a global network of successful alumni connected to the Franklin Pierce tradition, students have access to IP professionals in more than 80 countries.
